The Italian Cultural Institute is proud to support the international workshop CALVINO & ECO. RHIZOMATIC RELATIONSHIPS, organized by the Department of Italian Studies of the University of Toronto.
The workshop will explore the intersections between the creative works and the theoretical insights of two masters of the Italian novel, Italo Calvino and Umberto Eco, with a special focus on their mutual “readership”.
The event is co-sponsored by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (Aid to Research Workshops and Conferences).
